Understanding

Or Help

Thoughts

Covered

Coveted

Camouflaged

Disguised so deeply

Unrecognizable

Unintelligible

Words swept away

Words kept under lock and key

Words sheltered beneath layers

Words that have become secrets

Words woven into my unconscious

Words placed in solitary confinement

Words tucked and compartmentalized

Words isolated from an ignored reality

Words at the bottom of my emotional sea

Words placed on shelves in the chambers of my heart

The biggest threat

To my ongoing existence

Are the unspoken words
